The Bachelor of Technology can be obtained in the following disciplines: Ceramics, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Stained Glass, Graphic Design, Photography, Fashion and Textile Design.

The programme provides an opportunity to study creative and/or technologically advanced aspects of the relevant discipline that have significant cultural, industrial and/or educational value. 

Requirements for admission

(Please note that these are the specific programme admission requirements - the university has its own minimum admission requirements.)

National Diploma: Fashion Design, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Textile Design, Photography or suitable recognition of prior learning (RPL) qualification.  An aggregate of at least 65% for the National Diploma is required in order to be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Technology.  A 65% pass mark in the main theory subject (History or Visual Studies) is mandatory.
